Job summary

Basta Oslo, part of Urban Italian Group, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to support the General Manager and Assistant General Manager in delivering a smooth, energetic and well‑organized service. You will lead sections, coach FOH staff and ensure a warm guest experience that reflects Basta’s hospitality.

Qualifications

Experience as Restaurant Manager, Floor Manager, Supervisor or senior FOH team member.
Experience in busy, high‑volume restaurant environments.
Hands‑on leadership of service from the floor.
Strong guest focus and ability to create a positive atmosphere.
Good communication skills and a team‑first mindset.
Ability to stay calm, organized and positive during busy service.
Pride in maintaining standards and hospitality.

Responsibilities

Support the GM and AGM in day-to-day running of the restaurant.
Lead sections of service and help the floor team perform at their best.
Create a warm, professional and consistent guest experience.
Coach, supporting and motivating FOH team members during shifts.
Maintain service standards, restaurant presentation and team organization.
Support daily briefings, handovers and communication between FOH, bar and kitchen.
Handle guest feedback and service issues calmly and professionally.
