Job summary

Teya in London is seeking a Principal Product Designer for our Banking team to shape money flow across Europe. You’ll own end-to-end experiences and guide a small, ambitious design team toward a clear vision and craft.

You’ll collaborate with product, engineering, and research, use AI to create adaptive experiences, and mentor others while raising the design bar across the organization. This is a strategic, high-impact role in a fast-paced fintech environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Product Design and at least 3 years leading work in complex or regulated environments such as fintech or banking.
• Experience designing for financial systems—payments, reconciliation, operations—clarity in complexity.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the vision for Teya’s banking products and create seamless ways for small businesses to manage and move their money.
• Own end-to-end product experiences, collaborating with product, engineering, and research from concept to launch.
• Leverage AI to design smarter, adaptive experiences that help merchants make better financial decisions.
• Understand European customers and design solutions that meaningfully improve how they run their businesses.
• Bring clarity to complex systems through structure, strong craft, and rigorous testing.
• Use research, data, and rapid prototyping to test and iterate with purpose.
• Help grow the design culture at Teya by raising quality and mentoring teammates.
