Job summary

Tieto Banktech is seeking an AI Engineer to join the KYC Case team in Front & Advisory. You will design, build and operate cloud services, APIs and integrations behind our banking services with a strong backend focus.

You will work closely with backend engineers, designers and product managers to turn AI opportunities into secure, reliable capabilities for banks and their customers, leveraging our in-house AI infrastructure built by PhDs from Google, YouTube, and Microsoft.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of production software development experience.
• Experience in data analysis and applying AI to create business value.
• Backend engineering experience with APIs, integrations and scalable architectures.
• Experience with automated delivery, monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.
• Experience with secure data handling and AI in regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Identify where AI can create real value in banking products and engineering practices.
• Shape patterns, architectures and best practices for secure AI-enabled solutions.
• Turn AI opportunities into production-ready capabilities with architecture, testing and operations in mind.
• Use AI-assisted workflows to understand and modernize existing technology.
• Evaluate new tools and adopt AI-supported workflows across development, testing and operations.
