Job summary

KONGSBERG is seeking a Lead Engineer for DevOps and Test Infrastructure in Trondheim to elevate our DevOps and testing environments. You will work with embedded software teams and support developers, driving improvements to our software infrastructure.

Based in Trondheim, you’ll collaborate with IT and DevOps across KONGSBERG, develop software for products and infrastructure, and promote effective use of our SW infrastructure while exploring AI-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with DevOps and testing.
• Experience working with embedded SW and Linux.
• Interest in applying AI to solve problems.

We are looking for the right person to take our DevOps and Test Infrastructure to the next level. This position is a perfect opportunity if you want to be(come) an expert, investigate options, decide on solutions, and implement them. All while relying on expert colleagues across KONGSBERG for discussion and support.

The position is part of the SW Architects group, which is responsible for all SW activities common across Seatex products and projects.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience with DevOps and testing
• Experience working with embedded SW and Linux
• An interest in, and practical experience with, applying AI to solve problems
• Familiarity with Docker or similar technologies
