Job summary

We are seeking a DevOps and Test Infrastructure specialist to elevate our environments at KONGSBERG. You will work with IT and DevOps colleagues across the group to develop software for products and infrastructure and tackle testing challenges.

Ideal candidates have strong DevOps and testing experience, embedded software exposure, Linux knowledge, and an interest in applying AI to problem‑solving, with familiarity in Docker or similar tools.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
• Proven experience with DevOps and testing.
• Strong software development skills.

We are looking for the right person to take our DevOps and Test Infrastructure to the next level. This position is a perfect opportunity if you want to be(come) an expert, investigate options, decide on solutions, and implement them. All while relying on expert colleagues across KONGSBERG for discussion and support.

What You Will Be Doing

• Drive further development and maintenance of our DevOps and testing environments
• Collaborate with IT and DevOps colleagues across KONGSBERG
• Develop SW for products and infrastructure
• Support SW developers on DevOps and testing challenges, and promote effective use of our SW infrastructure

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Proven experience with DevOps and testing
• Strong SW development skills
• Experience working with embedded SW and Linux
• An interest in, and practical experience with, applying AI to solve problems
• Familiarity with Docker or similar technologies
