Kongsberg Discovery in Horten, Norway, is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, commission and service underwater acoustic systems on vessels and offshore installations worldwide.
The role involves travel about 120 days per year, providing on-site, remote and in-house support with strong customer focus. A bachelor-level engineering degree and willingness to travel are essential, and both experienced and new engineers are encouraged to apply.
Kongsberg Discovery, Customer Support, Ocean Technology is responsible for technical advisory, support, and training on our products within Mapping, Positioning and Monitoring and Ocean Science. To further strengthen our team, we are looking for a Field Service Engineer to join us at Kongsberg Discovery in Horten. As a Field Service Engineer your main task will be traveling, you will do installation and commissioning of Underwater Acoustic systems on vessels and in shipyards around the world. You will do service and maintenance on installed systems on sailing ships and offshore installations. As well as offer in-house technical support and remote service to external and internal customers when not traveling.
