If P&C Insurance Ltd (publ) (Sweden) is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to coach, lead and mentor data engineers while building a Nordic/Lativa distributed team. You will drive data quality, governance and scalable lakehouse solutions in a cloud-first environment.

The role emphasizes fostering a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement with a focus on production-grade data products and streamlined CI/CD practices in a hybrid workplace.

Qualifications

• Several years of practical experience in end-to-end data engineering, preferably in a lead role within a large-scale cloud environment.
• Experience coaching and mentoring data engineers and fostering collaboration.
• Proficiency in Azure Databricks, PySpark/SQL, DBT, and Azure Data Factory.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a distributed team of data engineers across the Nordic countries and Latvia.
• Set high standards for data ownership, quality, reliability, and delivery.
• Foster a collaborative, learning-oriented engineering culture and promote best practices.
• Coach engineers in Azure Databricks and enable production-grade data products and pipelines.
