Job summary

If P&C Insurance Ltd (publ) (Sweden) is seeking a Data Scientist or Senior Data Scientist to join our Nordic team focused on developing and productionising machine learning and advanced analytics solutions.

You will work in an agile setting applying NLP, image analysis and predictive modelling for customer acquisition, sales, and claims, collaborating with data scientists and engineers to ensure production readiness and model quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in data science and machine learning in a commercial setting.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with version control and software development practices to write reusable modules and pipelines.
• Strong ability to work with stakeholders across levels of the organisation.
• Fluency in English and interest in mentoring juniors.

Responsibilities

• Drive and develop data science solutions from problem framing to production deployment.
• Engage with stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Guide technical decisions related to AI/ML and data landscape.
• Collaborate to define approaches and evaluate new methods/technologies.
• Identify opportunities to extend solutions with business impact.
