Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking an Engineer for Installation & Construction in Kongsberg, Norway. The role covers design, procurement, manufacturing and installation with a focus on offshore projects and seabed operations.

You will contribute to installation and commissioning methods, mobilisations, and technical follow-up of subcontractors, while maintaining quality and budget adherence. A bachelor or master in a relevant field is required, with 0–3 years of experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree with relevance to Installation & Construction.
• Experience in installation engineering for offshore systems is a plus.
• Ability to work on mobilisations and offshore campaigns.

• Perform installation engineering for design, procurement, manufacturing and installation.
• Develop installation & commissioning procedures and master equipment lists.
• Provide technical follow-up of subcontractors and equipment mobilisation.
• Support procurement and participate in mobilisations and offshore campaigns.

Job description

Participates in engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction. The Engineer, Installation Engineering works within the discipline Installation & Construction with assigned tasks. The Engineer role comprise the following competencies: installation engineering for installation and intervention/commissioning of flexible, umbilical, spools, jumpers and seabed structures, lifting, mobilization for installation campaigns and seabed preparation.

Job Description:

Perform engineering work related to design, procurement, manufacturing and installation within the discipline Installation & Construction as assigned.

Typical tasks:

• Installation & commissioning methods
• Detailed operation/installation/commissioning procedures
• Master equipment list
• Technical follow up of subcontractors
• Specifications for mobilization and demobilization of installation & commissioning equipment and vessels
• Manufacturing and quality control specifications and acceptance criteria of lines and equipment
• Support to procurement
• Participate on mobilisations and offshore campaigns

You are meant for this job if:
