Job summary
TechnipFMC plc in Norway seeks an Engineer in Installation Engineering to perform design, procurement, manufacturing and installation within the Installation & Construction discipline. The role covers installation/commissioning of flexible, umbilical, spools, jumpers and seabed structures, including lifting and mobilization for offshore campaigns.
The candidate will work with BPMS processes, ensure efficient resource use, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers, with strong emphasis
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree with minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Master degree with minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience.

- Seek to ensure that work is carried out with the minimum use of resources.
- Seek to contribute to the improvement and quality assurance of work processes.
- Ensure that correct version of codes, standards and software are used in all work.
- Ensure that proper documentation of all work is kept according to guidelines.
- Develop the pre-determined field of expertise.
- Mentor new engineers.
- Perform engineering work related to design, procurement, manufacturing and installation within the discipline Installation & Construction as Assigned.
- Typical tasks include installation & commissioning methods, detailed operation/installation/commissioning procedures, master equipment list, technical follow up of subcontractors, specifications for mobilization/demobilization, manufacturing and quality control specs, support to procurement, mentoring, tenders and studies, and independent mobilization/offshore campaigns.

Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.
The Engineer, Installation Engineering works within the discipline Installation & Construction with assigned tasks. The Engineer role comprise the following competencies: installation engineering for installation and intervention/commissioning of flexible, umbilical, spools, jumpers and seabed structures, lifting, mobilization for installation campaigns and seabed preparation.
- Work in accordance with BPMS processes
