TechnipFMC plc in Kongsberg is seeking an Intermediate Installation Engineer to support installation engineering for flexible, umbilical, spools, jumpers and seabed structures. The role covers lifting, mobilization for offshore campaigns and seabed preparation, with a focus on quality and customer satisfaction.

You will work within the Installation & Construction discipline, contribute to procedures, and mentor new engineers while participating in tenders and studies.

Qualifikationen

Job Purpose:

Provides engineering solutions as part of a SSE project taskforce, in accordance with TechnipFMC standards, procedures, processes, schedules, and budget, with a continuous concern for quality, targets, and customer satisfaction.

The Engineer, Installation Engineering works within the discipline Installation & Construction with assigned tasks. The Engineer role comprise the following competencies: installation engineering for installation and intervention/commissioning of flexible, umbilical, spools, jumpers and seabed structures, lifting, mobilization for installation campaigns and seabed preparation.

Job Description:

• Work in accordance with BPMS processes
• Seek to ensure that work is carried out with the minimum use of resources
• Seek to contribute to the improvement and quality assurance of work processes
• Ensure that correct version of codes, standards and software are used in all work
• Ensure that proper documentation of all work is kept according to guidelines
• Develop the pre-determined field of expertise
• Mentor new engineers

Perform engineering work related to design, procurement, manufacturing and installation within the discipline Installation & Construction as assigned.

Typical tasks:

• Installation & commissioning methods
• Detailed operation/installation/commissioning procedures
• Master equipment list
• Technical follow up of subcontractors
• Specifications for mobilization and demobilization of installation & commissioning equipment and vessels
• Manufacturing and quality control specifications and acceptance criteria of lines and equipment
• Support to procurement
• Mentor new project engineers
• Support tenders and studies with engineering activities
• Work independently on mobilisation and offshore campaigns

You are meant for this job if:

• Bachelor degree with minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience
• Master degree with minimum 1-3 years of relevant experience
