Job summary

AlphaConnect in Os, Norway, seeks an experienced Instrument Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and repair instruments and control systems in industrial settings.

You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, monitor performance, and document all work. The role requires reading diagrams, following manuals, and collaborating with engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Familiarity with electrical wiring diagrams and schematics.
• Ability to read manuals and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Install and calibrate new instruments according to specifications.
• Troubleshoot and repair malfunctioning instruments and control systems.
• Perform routine maintenance on instruments to ensure proper functioning.
• Monitor instrument performance and adjust as needed.
• Keep detailed records of all work performed.
• Collaborate with engineers and other technicians on projects.
