Job summary

Want More in Oslo, Norway is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain and repair industrial instruments used for measurement and control. The role is a contract position with accommodation provided.

You will calibrate instruments, read drawings, troubleshoot issues, keep detailed maintenance records, and work with engineers to implement solutions. Candidates should have at least two years of experience and a solid understanding of electrical systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Instrument Technician or similar role.
• Experience with industrial instruments and control systems.
• Ability to read technical drawings and manuals for installation and repair.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain and repair instruments such as gauges, thermometers, meters and sensors.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose instrument issues to determine repairs.
• Calibrate and test instruments to ensure accuracy.
