Job summary

PrimeLedger Associates in Oslo is seeking an experienced Instrument Technician to install, maintain, and repair instruments and control systems used in industrial processes. This is a full-time role offering a competitive monthly salary of 1700 USD.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Job description

Our company a leading industrial services provider in Oslo is seeking an experienced and skilled Instrument Technician to join our team. As an Instrument Technician you will be responsible for installing maintaining and repairing various types of instruments and control systems used in industrial processes.

This is a full-time position with a competitive salary of 1700$ per month.

Responsibilities
  • Install calibrate troubleshoot and repair various instruments and control systems such as pressure gauges temperature sensors flow meters and level indicators
  • Collaborate with engineers and other technicians to ensure proper functioning of instruments
  • Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance on instruments to ensure they are operating at peak performance
  • Diagnose malfunctions and perform necessary repairs using hand tools and specialized equipment
  • Keep accurate records of work performed and maintain inventory of spare parts
  • Follow safety regulations and procedures at all times
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent completion of a vocational or technical training program in instrumentation preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Instrument Technician in an industrial setting
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems instrumentation principles and control systems
  • Familiarity with industry standards for installation maintenance calibration and repair of instruments
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment
  • Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
