Job summary

Leap29 is seeking an Electrical Engineer for a client in the Nordic region, joining the Engineering & Maintenance division to support industrial facilities with maintenance optimization and modification projects.

You will deliver detail engineering for LV/HV systems, plan preventive and corrective maintenance, and prepare technical documentation. Fluency in Norwegian is required; English proficiency is expected, with experience in NEK standards and design tools.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
Strong experience in electrical engineering within industrial maintenance or heavy industry.
Fluency in Norwegian (written and spoken) and working proficiency in English.
Strong familiarity with Norwegian standards (NEK 400, NEK 420) and FSE.
Experience with design and documentation tools (AutoCAD, MicroStation, FEBDOK).

Responsibilities

Deliver detail engineering and technical calculations for LV/HV systems.
Plan and optimize preventive and corrective maintenance routines.
Prepare and update cable schedules, loop diagrams, single-line diagrams, and datasheets.
Ensure all installations comply with NEK 400, NEK 420 and FSE.
Troubleshoot on live sites and perform root-cause analysis with maintenance teams.
