DataAnnotation is seeking a fluent Icelandic speaker to help train AI models. You will write prompts in Icelandic, review model outputs for grammar, tone and cultural relevance, and ensure accuracy across responses.

This independent contractor role offers remote work from home with flexible scheduling and hourly pay between 25 and 40 USD, with bonus rates on some projects. PayPal handles currency conversions.

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Icelandic.
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail-oriented with strong writing skills in both languages.

We are looking for a fluent Icelandic speaker to help train AI models. You will test how well these models understand and write in Icelandic, check their reasoning, and help raise the quality of each new version.

We're currently expanding into an exciting new area: teaching AI to communicate naturally in Icelandic, with the grammar, tone, and cultural knowledge of a native speaker.

In This Role, You May

• Write prompts in Icelandic on a wide range of everyday and specialized topics
• Review AI responses for grammar, fluency, and natural phrasing
• Check whether answers reflect local culture, customs, and current context accurately
• Compare model responses side by side and choose the stronger one
• Translate between Icelandic and English while preserving meaning and tone
