Job summary

DataAnnotation is seeking a fluent Icelandic speaker to help train AI models. You will write prompts in Icelandic on a wide range of topics, review AI responses for grammar and natural phrasing, and ensure answers reflect local culture and context.

This independent contractor role offers flexible scheduling, remote work from home, and hourly pay between $25 and $40 USD, with bonus rates on some projects. Applicants based in Iceland are preferred, and fluent Icelandic speakers living elsewhere

Qualifications

• Native or near-native fluency in Icelandic.
• Fluency in English (native or bilingual level).
• Detail-oriented and strong writing skills in both languages.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Write prompts in Icelandic on a wide range of topics.
• Review AI responses for grammar, fluency, and natural phrasing.
• Check cultural accuracy and local context in responses.
• Translate between Icelandic and English preserving meaning and tone.
• Compare model responses and select the stronger one.
