Job summary

Cognizant is seeking an ADMS Core & Solutions Engineer in Oslo to design, deploy, upgrade, and optimize ADMS Series 6 environments that support critical European utility operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to deliver resilient and scalable OT solutions.

The role encompasses planning, implementing, and validating deployments, ensuring high availability, and driving system enhancements across energy management platforms.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in ADMS, SCADA, utility applications, OT, software engineering, or related technical disciplines.
• Experience deploying, configuring, upgrading, or supporting enterprise-scale software platforms.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, solution architecture, and system integration principles.
• Experience troubleshooting complex production issues and performing root cause analysis.
• Working knowledge of operating systems, databases, and enterprise application environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with distributed teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead deployment and upgrade of ADMS Series 6 environments, including planning, execution, validation, and production readiness.
• Collaborate with utility stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable ADMS designs.
• Design, implement, and optimize ADMS solutions to improve grid reliability and efficiency.
• Manage setup and configuration of ADMS replication groups for data synchronization.
• Implement best practices for high availability, disaster recovery, and resilience.
• Monitor replication performance and troubleshoot cross-environment issues.
• Perform end-to-end defect analysis and remediation coordination.
• Develop and execute FAT/SAT test strategies for features and upgrades.
• Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, and OEM teams to maintain secure platform operations.
