Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a DevOps & Automation Engineer for the GE ADMS Series 6 program in Oslo. You will design and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automate builds and deployments, and manage cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP.

The role emphasizes collaboration with engineers, stakeholders, and security teams to ensure scalable, secure delivery. The position is hybrid, with a focus on automation, infrastructure as code, and continuous improvement in energy tech environments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in DevOps, software engineering, or infrastructure automation; newer candidates considered with strong hands-on exposure.
• Proven Jenkins CI/CD design experience and pipeline-as-code practices.
• Hands-on Terraform for cloud provisioning on AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Ansible for server provisioning and automation.
• Strong Python scripting for automation and tooling.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain Jenkins pipelines across programs.
• Automate build, test, and deployment to raise release frequency and quality.
• Provision cloud infra with Terraform across multiple clouds.
• Manage Ansible playbooks for configuration and standardization.
• Develop Python tooling to streamline operations and deployment tasks.
• Oversee artifact repos, release tracking, and rollback strategies.
• Administer GitHub repos with PR workflows and code integration.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
