Job summary

Voith Hydro AS in Norway is seeking an HSE Manager to implement and improve the HSE Management System across operations, ensuring safe and compliant execution of all activities. You will act as the primary HSE advisor to senior leadership, promoting a Zero Incident culture and maintaining a strong field presence.

With at least 8 years in HSE within hydropower or heavy industries, you will lead incident investigations, manage contractor HSE performance, and ensure regulatory and customer

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, HSE or related discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years HSE experience in heavy industry, energy, or offshore sectors.
• Strong proficiency in Norwegian (written and spoken).
• Experience leading incident investigations and contractor management.

Responsibilities

• Lead implementation and continuous improvement of the HSE Management System.
• Promote a strong safety culture and support project delivery.
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analyses; drive corrective actions.
• Manage contractor HSE performance and compliance with legal and company requirements.
• Provide transparent HSE reporting to leadership.
