Job summary

CTS Group is seeking an experienced x4 HSE Advisor (Data Centres) to join our Norway team and uphold top-tier health, safety and environmental standards across hyperscale data centre projects. This hands-on, site-based role involves partnering with project teams, subcontractors and clients to ensure safe and compliant execution.

The ideal candidate will have 3–5 years of HSE site experience, NEBOSH IGC or ISO 45001, and strong communication skills in English. Norwegian knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• > Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or related discipline.
• < NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 or equivalent desirable
• < 3–5 years' site-based HSE experience in construction/industrial environments
• < Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations
• < Experience delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and engaging with site teams
• < Data Centre experience is advantageous and Norwegian HSE knowledge desirable

Responsibilities

• Promote and maintain the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across site operations.
• Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure safe, efficient work.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and safety observations to drive continuous improvement.
• Deliver inductions and toolbox talks, fostering a positive safety culture.
• Collaborate with the Project HSE Manager to implement company procedures and local legislation.

CTS Group is currently recruiting three experienced x4 HSE Advisors (Data Centres) to join our growing team delivering large-scale hyperscale Data Centre projects in Kvandal North, Norway.

The Role

Reporting to the Project HSE Manager, you will play a key role in promoting and maintaining the highest standards of health, safety, and environmental compliance across site operations.

This is a hands‑on, site‑based role where you will work closely with project teams, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company procedures and local legislation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Health & Safety or a related discipline
• NEBOSH IGC, ISO 45001 or equivalent qualification desirable
• 3–5 years' experience in a site‑based HSE role within construction, industrial or mission‑critical environments
• Strong knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessments and incident investigations
• x4 HSE Advisors (Data Centres) with experience carrying out site inspections, audits and safety observations
• Ability to deliver inductions, toolbox talks and engage positively with site teams
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• Proactive approach with the confidence to challenge unsafe behaviours
• Good IT skills including Microsoft Office and digital HSE reporting systems
• Fluent English essential
• Previous experience on Data Centre projects would be a distinct advantage
• Knowledge of Norwegian HSE legislation desirable
