Hotel Sales Manager

Location: Alta, Norway

Our luxury hotel in Alta is seeking a driven and experienced Hotel Sales Manager to join our team. As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales and increasing revenue for our hotel. This is a full-time position with a salary of $1200 per month.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to attract new customers and retain existing ones
• Identify potential clients and build relationships with them through networking and cold calling
• Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activity, and new business opportunities
• Create attractive packages and promotions to increase bookings and revenue
• Collaborate with other departments such as marketing, reservations, and operations to ensure seamless guest experiences
• Set sales targets for the team and monitor their performance through regular meetings and reports
• Attend trade shows, conferences, and other events to promote the hotel's services
• Negotiate contracts with corporate clients and group bookings

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Sales Manager in the hospitality industry
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Strong business acumen with the ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions
• Familiarity with market research techniques and tools
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
• Must be fluent in English (additional languages are an asset)
• Must be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
