Convene Hospitality is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Tech Lead to shape and build our hospitality technology. You will work hands-on on the core product while guiding engineering decisions and maintaining high standards across the team.

Join a cross-functional group partnering with Product, Operations and customers to deliver scalable backend services, integrations and secure architectures for hotels across multiple markets.

Qualifications

• Strong software development experience, particularly within backend development and integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and modern software architecture.
• The ability to balance delivery with quality, security and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable software solutions, backend services and integrations.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and act as a technical decision-maker.
• Mentor developers and drive code quality and engineering best practices.
• Support sprint planning, technical scoping and prioritisation.
• Take responsibility for code reviews and quality control.
• Collaborate with Product, Operations, customers and other stakeholders to turn needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Assist with system design for new features, maintenance and impact of customer requests.
• Work with internal teams to standardise coding tools and systems.
• Engage with emerging technologies such as digital keys and kiosk hardware integrations.
