Job summary

Convene Hospitality in Oslo is seeking a Senior Software Developer / Tech Lead to shape and build our hospitality technology. You will work hands-on with our products while guiding engineering decisions and standards across the team.

You will design scalable backend services, mentor developers, participate in sprint planning and collaborate with product, operations and customers to deliver reliable solutions.

Qualifications

• Strong software development experience, particularly within backend development and integrations.
• Experience with cloud-based solutions and modern software architecture.
• The ability to balance delivery with quality, security and maintainability.

Responsibilities

• Designing and developing scalable software solutions, backend services and integrations.
• Contributing to architectural discussions and acting as a technical decision-maker in the team.
• Mentoring developers and driving code quality and engineering best practices.
• Supporting sprint planning, technical scoping and prioritisation.
• Taking responsibility for code reviews and quality control.
• Collaborating with Product, Operations, customers and other stakeholders to turn needs into reliable technical solutions.
• Assist with system design for new features, maintenance and impact of customer request.
• Working with internal company teams to standardise coding tools and systems.
