Job summary

Mojob is a modern recruitment and staffing platform, scaling its AI capabilities to redefine how people discover work and how companies find talent at scale. AI will be critical to this next phase, and this is where you come in.

As Head of AI, you will design and ship production‑grade features—CV parsing, semantic matching, embedding pipelines and agent workflows—while prioritizing quality, cost, and compliance in hiring.

Qualifications

• Strong software engineering experience building production systems.
• Solid SQL/PostgreSQL and API design experience.
• Proven track record shipping LLM-based features (RAG, embeddings, vector search).
• Experience building evaluation and monitoring for AI systems (golden sets, regression tests, telemetry).
• Understanding of multi-tenant SaaS, async workers (e.g. Celery), and production incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS) and modern observability tooling.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and lead production AI features end-to-end.
• Own embeddings store, RAG services, evaluation harnesses.
• Deliver talent–job similarity and explainable candidate screening.
• Integrate AI into services with APIs, observability, and per-tenant cost tracking.
• Define evaluation suites and tests for prompts, retrieval, and cost.
• Ensure responsible AI: explainability, logging, PII protection.
• Collaborate with product/engineering to ship MVPs in cycles.
