Job summary

TECEZE in Stavanger seeks an H&F Engineer – Network Assessment to perform an onsite survey of fiber, WiFi and Ethernet connectivity, assess room-to-room links and AP placement, and identify cabling or coverage issues.

The engineer will use a fiber tester, laptop and WiFi analysis tools to document findings and provide clear technical observations and recommendations for deployment, working independently onsite and coordinating with the remote team.

Qualifications

• Strong networking and infrastructure experience.
• Hands-on fiber connectivity and testing experience.
• Good knowledge of Ethernet, LAN/WAN and WiFi infrastructure.
• Experience with network rack assessment and AP placement.
• Ability to troubleshoot physical-layer and connectivity issues.
• Experience conducting onsite network surveys/assessments.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct onsite network and connectivity assessment at Stavanger.
• Assess connectivity between the two rooms and validate fiber.
• Provide observations and recommendations for WiFi and Ethernet deployment.
• Identify connectivity, cabling, infrastructure, or coverage concerns.
• Document onsite findings and provide clear technical observations and recommendations.
