DeepOcean is seeking a Group Procurement Director to define and drive its global procurement agenda. You will lead strategic sourcing, governance and the digitisation of procurement, collaborating with CFOs and regional leaders to unlock synergies across regions and build a future-fit function that supports growth.

You will report to the CFO and work with finance, operations and executive stakeholders worldwide to deliver sustainable value and drive strategic priorities across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related field.
• Proven ability to drive procurement strategy in global organizations.
• Strong commercial, financial and contractual understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement DeepOcean's global procurement strategy, governance framework and operating model.
• Drive cost savings and Total Cost of Ownership improvements while ensuring sustainable value creation.
• Lead category management and strategic sourcing initiatives across the organization.
• Negotiate and manage strategic supplier agreements and strengthen supplier performance.
• Drive procurement digitalisation, spend transparency and AI-enabled improvements.
• Ensure procurement compliance, risk management and sustainable sourcing practices.
• Partner with senior stakeholders across Finance, Operations and regional business units to deliver strategic priorities.

What should you do?

What background and expertise do you bring with you?

To be successful in this role, we believe you have:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Finance or a related field
• Minimum 10 years of Senior Management/Executive director-level role.
• Global experience in Supply Chain Management.
• Proven experience developing and implementing procurement strategies in complex international organizations
• Strong commercial, financial and contractual understanding
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal

It would be considered an advantage if you also have:

• Experience from offshore, subsea, oil & gas or renewable energy industries
• Experience leading procurement transformation and digitalisation initiatives
