Job summary

KONGSBERG in Oslo is seeking a Senior Tax Manager to join our centralized Group Tax Function. You will focus on global tax reporting, compliance, provisioning, Pillar Two, and Country-by-Country Reporting for the group, reporting to the Head of Tax.

You will support tax operations worldwide, ensure robust controls, and collaborate with management and tax advisers to strengthen governance and risk management. This role requires a security clearance eligibility and will involve occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret complex tax data.
• Fluent in Norwegian and English to communicate with global teams.
• Experience with Norwegian and international tax regulations.

Responsibilities

• Drive and enhance global tax reporting, tax compliance, tax provisioning, Pillar Two, and Country-by-Country Reporting.
• Support tax operations globally within compliance, provisioning, audits, and contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting.
• Identify and mitigate tax risk and establish appropriate controls with business units.
• Review tax filings and assess uncertain tax positions for accuracy and impact.
• Maintain and strengthen the global tax framework, policies, and governance.
• Foster relationships with financial management, business leaders, and tax colleagues across the organization.
• Manage and collaborate with tax advisers.
