Responsibilities

• Drive og styrke vår globale skatterapportering og samsvar.
• Støtte skatteoperasjoner globalt i samsvar, provisjon og revisjon, og bidra til periodiske finansielle rapporter.
• Arbeide med virksomheten for å identifisere og redusere skatterisiko og etablere nødvendige kontroller.
• Gjennomgå relevante skatteinnberetninger og vurdere usikre skattesituasjoner for fullstendighet og transaksjonseffekter.
• Vedlikeholde og forbedre globalt skatte-rammeverk, retningslinjer og prosesser.
• Styrke relasjoner med finansiering, forretningsenheter og skattekollegaer over hele organisasjonen.
• Lede og jobbe tett med skatterådgivere.

Job description

Vil du lede og videreutvikle KONGSBERGs globale skatterapportering og compliancearbeid?

KONGSBERG is looking for a Senior Tax Manager to join our Group Tax Function in Oslo. The role will focus on tax reporting, tax compliance, tax provisioning, Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting for the group.

As Senior Tax Manager, you will report to the Head of Tax in KONGSBERG and be part of our centralized Group Tax Function in Norway, supporting the global business.

Responsibilities & Tasks

• Drive and enhance our global tax reporting, tax compliance, tax provisioning, Pillar Two and Country-by-Country Reporting.
• Support tax operations globally within compliance, provisioning and audits, and contribute to quarterly and annual financial reporting, reconciliations and budget processes.
• Work with the business to identify and mitigate tax risk and establish appropriate controls.
• Review relevant tax filings and consider uncertain tax positions for completeness, technical accuracy and transaction impacts.
• Maintain and enhance the global tax framework, policies and processes to support a strong control and governance environment.
• Contribute to strengthening our strong working relationships with financial management, business leaders and tax colleagues across the global organization.
• Manage and work closely with tax advisers.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in finance, accounting, tax or a related field.
• Minimum six years of relevant experience.
• Strong experience with financial accounting and tax reporting.
• Experience with Norwegian and international tax regulations.
• Good understanding of tax governance, policies and internal controls.

You have strong analytical skills, communicate well in Norwegian and English, and build effective relationships across the organization.
