Job summary

NACOS Marine is seeking a Senior Director, Segment Sales – Governmental (m/f/d) to lead and grow the global Governmental segment. Define and execute the segment sales strategy, drive order intake, and be the central contact for all segment-related commercial activities.

The role combines strategic leadership, key account management, and cross-functional coordination with revenue growth as the core objective.

Qualifications

• Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA preferred.
• Proven B2B sales leadership in the Governmental segment.
• Strong experience in key account management and complex deal execution.
• Demonstrated success in revenue growth and margin improvement.
• Strong strategic thinking and commercial acumen.
• Ability to operate cross-functionally and influence stakeholders.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Experience in forecasting, pipeline management, and sales planning.
• High level of ownership and accountability.

Responsibilities

• Build, lead, and inspire a global segment sales team with ownership culture.
• Define and execute the global sales strategy for the Governmental segment.
• Drive order intake growth, revenue, and margin performance.
• Develop and maintain segment forecasting and pipeline visibility.
• Identify growth opportunities across new build and refit markets.
• Act as Segment Key Account Manager for Governmental customers.
• Build and maintain relationships with strategic accounts.
• Own segment order intake and sales margin targets.
• Ensure profitable growth and value-based selling.
• Monitor performance against KPIs and steer initiatives.
• Serve as SPoC for all Governmental segment sales topics.
• Lead segment-specific sales training and capability development.
• Establish best practices across regions and ensure structured execution.
