The Global Finance Trainee program in DNV is an excellent way to launch your career within finance and business! As a Global Finance Trainee in DNV, you will build competence within finance and business, more specifically in the areas of strategy, business controlling, accounting, commercial management and business analysis. The trainee program offers you a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive understanding of the exciting opportunities and critical challenges in DNV from different perspectives of the company.
The program generally consists of three eight-month rotations, where one rotation will be outside Norway. The traineeship provides on–the–job training, and we seek to design the program based on your qualifications and learning needs, combined with DNV’s strategic focus and competence requirements.
Please note that while the Global Finance Trainee Program is a two-year structured development program consisting of three rotations, the Global Finance Trainee position is a permanent role in DNV from day one. Upon completion of the trainee program, you will be offered a relevant role within the company, either abroad or in Norway.

We are seeking graduates who will have completed a relevant master's degree by summer 2027 at the latest. You should have strong academic results, a keen interest in an international career, and no more than two years of full-time work experience.
