Job summary

Blue Moon Metals Inc. seeks a General Manager for the Nussir site in Norway. This senior role leads safety, operations, and performance as the project transitions from construction to operations, ensuring compliant, cost-effective production and strong stakeholder relationships.

The GM will guide multidisciplinary teams, drive continuous improvement, manage budgets, and partner with regulatory bodies to meet permits and ESG standards across mining and processing facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Geology, Metallurgy, or related field.
• Minimum 20+ years mining operations experience with at least 5 years in senior leadership roles.
• Experience in underground mining operations and processing facilities management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Nussir operation in Norway.
• Oversee mining and processing operations to meet safety, cost, and production targets.
• Drive HSE compliance, risk management, and environmental stewardship.
• Engage with regulators, communities, and stakeholders; manage budgets and growth projects.
