Job summary

Leap29 seeks an experienced Project Engineering Manager to lead front-end engineering from concept through FEED and tendering for EPC projects, focusing on robust process module solutions and integrated execution. You will coordinate across disciplines and ensure technical and commercial viability.

The role requires strong leadership, a track record in EPC projects and the ability to drive early engineering decisions that shape the project. Oslo preferred, with hybrid options across Europe.

Qualifications

• Degree in a relevant engineering discipline.
• Approximately 5–10+ years of multidisciplinary EPC experience.
• Experience in conceptual, FEED or early project development phases and EPC execution.
• Strong experience with process, utility, offshore or topside modules and packaged systems.
• Understanding of how process modules are developed from concept through procurement and fabrication.
• Familiarity with interfaces between Process, Mechanical, Piping, Instrumentation, Electrical, Structural and Layout disciplines.
• Experience supporting technical tenders with short development timescales.
• Understanding of engineering sequence, procurement requirements and project critical path.
• Commercial awareness with strong technical judgement.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary engineering activities during conceptual design, FEED, tender development and project execution.
• Support development and evaluation of technical concepts before detailed engineering.
• Set technical basis, priorities and execution strategy for tenders and projects.
• Coordinate input across Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural and Layout.
• Ensure early decisions consider constructability, procurement, fabrication, schedule and economics.
• Work with Business Development, Sales, Technology and Procurement to develop competitive solutions.
• Challenge and optimise proposed solutions for performance and cost.
• Manage engineering deliverables, interfaces and priorities through the lifecycle.
• Drive the engineering schedule to support procurement and fabrication.
