Job summary

TechnipFMC plc is seeking a System Engineer in Kongsberg to drive system engineering across project phases from FEED to closeout. You will work with Tender Technical Manager to translate client needs into system concepts and ensure documentation integrity during the project lifecycle.

The role requires strong leadership, independent work, and the ability to coordinate across disciplines, with a focus on timely delivery, quality, and adherence to standards.

Qualifications

• BSc with extensive experience in systems engineering; advanced degree preferred.
• Multidiscipline knowledge across engineering domains is required.
• Ability to lead and coordinate (senior) project activities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform system engineering activities per GBMS.
• Establish project system requirements and support DR-1 preparations.
• Create and issue system documents and drawings (e.g., Design Basis, System Specification).
• Ensure interfaces are defined and maintained for system integrity.
• Lead technical clarifications with customers and manage project reviews.
