Job summary

Sony Europe in Lysaker is seeking a Firmware Design Intern to contribute to the design and development of CMOS image sensor firmware. You will work on embedded firmware for ASIC devices, writing low level C for ARM CPUs, and be a hands-on contributor collaborating with the Firmware Team to deliver on time.

You will coordinate with teams in Europe and Japan, define specifications, and implement real-time firmware for sensor control, data processing, and I/O interfaces.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer/Software Engineering.
• Academic background in Electronics or Software.
• Legal working permit in Norway.

Responsibilities

• Design firmware for CMOS image sensors used in ADAS.
• Develop and verify hard real-time firmware on CMOS sensors.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across Europe and Japan.
