OMNIVISION Norway invites a Characterization Intern to join our R&D team in Oslo. You will participate in testing, data analysis, and debugging of CMOS image sensors for automotive and consumer applications.
You will work with experienced engineers across design, test, and verification, gaining hands-on exposure to pre-silicon and post-silicon characterization while contributing to ongoing projects in a global, collaborative environment.

Analysis, testing, and optimization of CMOS Image Sensors throughout the chip development cycle. The characterization group works closely with analog and digital design teams to evaluate sensor performance through systematic testing, data analysis, and debugging. Activities include pre-silicon verification support, post-silicon bring-up, test system development, sensor evaluation under various operating conditions, and contributing to continuous improvements of sensor performance. The team plays a key role in validating product specifications and ensuring robust, high-quality sensor solutions for automotive applications.
As a Characterization Intern, you will work with the characterization team on testing, analysis, and debugging of CMOS image sensors for on-going projects. You will gain hands-on experience with sensor evaluation, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration in a real-world product development environment.
