Job summary

OMNIVISION Norway invites a Characterization Intern to join our R&D team in Oslo. You will participate in testing, data analysis, and debugging of CMOS image sensors for automotive and consumer applications.

You will work with experienced engineers across design, test, and verification, gaining hands-on exposure to pre-silicon and post-silicon characterization while contributing to ongoing projects in a global, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Master’s in Electrical Engineering, ideally in year 4.
• Background in CMOS image sensors or analog circuits is helpful.
• Interest in testing, debugging, and data-driven analysis.
• Experience with scripting (Python) is an advantage.
• Strong English communication in a professional context.

Responsibilities

• Assist with CMOS image sensor testing and data analysis.
• Analyze sensor performance and debug issues in ongoing projects.
• Support characterization activities from pre-silicon to post-silicon stages.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design and test teams.
• Document results and observations in reports.
