Magnora Data Center in Oslo is seeking a seasoned finance leader to own the finance function, from planning through to reporting and capital management across five European countries. You will work closely with top management, project managers, accountants and auditors, reporting to the CFO, and drive the company’s financial architecture.

Competenze

• 8+ years of experience in audit, accounting, controlling or finance in a listed company or project/infrastructure business.
• Background in data centers, real estate, energy, infrastructure or project finance is a plus.
• Strong IFRS knowledge with consolidation, group reporting and Norwegian GAAP understanding.
• Proficient with Excel and ERP systems; Xledger experience is an advantage.
• Fluent English and a Scandinavian language (written and spoken).
• MSc or equivalent in finance, accounting or economics with strong academics.

Build the finance engine of Europe's first listed pure-play data center company.

AI demand is reshaping digital infrastructure, and the capital needed to build it is enormous. Magnora Data Center ASA develops data center projects across Europe, mainly in the Nordics. We secure land, grid capacity and permits, take projects to ready-to-build (RTB), and work alongside the capital and customers that need the capacity.

In June 2026 we became the first pure-play data center company listed in Europe (Euronext Growth Oslo). Our majority shareholder is Magnora ASA, which has developed renewable energy since 2019 and has delivered an average shareholder return of more than 25% a year. We also run two operational data centers, so you will have both development projects and live operations on your books.

We are entrepreneurial, fast-moving and focused on execution. The finance function is still being built, and we want someone who will own it and shape it.

The role

You will sit at the centre of the business, across planning, controlling, reporting, financing and M&A, covering projects and operations in five countries. You will work closely with top management, project managers, external accountants and auditors, and you will report to the CFO.

What you'll do

• Planning and forecasting: budgets and forecasts for projects, operations and the Group


• Project controlling: development budgets, capex, progress, capitalisation and returns


• Deals and capital: support financings and M&A, including financial due diligence, models, lender and investor material, and Investor Relations


• Accounting backbone: accounting policies, systems, routines and internal controls, and assessments of contracts, revenue, leases, acquisitions and capital transactions


• Close and consolidation: monthly close, Group consolidation, management reporting, KPIs and Board material


• Listed-company reporting: quarterly and annual reports, notes, interim reports and Euronext Growth disclosure requirements


• Accounting/audit: follow-up with external accountants and auditors

In addition, everyone in the company contributes where needed.

Who you are

You are independent, hands-on and accurate, and you understand the commercial side of business. You want to build something, not just maintain it.

• 8+ years of experience in audit, accounting, controlling or finance in a listed company or a project/infrastructure business


• A background in data centers, real estate, energy, infrastructure or project finance is a plus, but not required


• Solid experience with consolidation, group reporting and IFRS, plus a good understanding of Norwegian GAAP, tax and VAT. State-authorised auditor or accountant accreditation is an advantage


• Strong Excel and ERP skills. Experience with Xledger and a consolidation system is an advantage


• Fluent English and a Scandinavian language, written and spoken


• MSc or equivalent in finance, accounting or economics, with strong academic results


• High integrity, execution capability and full ownership
