Job summary

Techconsult AS in Oslo is seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to continue telecom engineering activities within a large-scale hydrogen project. The role is based in Lysaker, Oslo, with 80-100% allocation and an initial 4-month contract, possible extension.

Responsibilities include telecom system engineering, industrial networks, fiber optics, CCTV, security systems, and coordination with automation and process disciplines. Must be located in Norway and fluent in Norwegian and English.

Qualifications

• BSc/MSc in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, Automation or similar.
• Experience from EPC/detailed engineering projects in energy, process industry, oil & gas, hydrogen or renewables.
• Familiarity with NORSOK and IEC standards is an advantage.
• Must be located in Norway
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English

For one of our clients in the Oslo area, we are seeking an experienced Telecom Engineer to continue ongoing telecom engineering activities within a large-scale hydrogen project.

Job responsibilities:

Telecom system engineering and coordination

Industrial networks, fiber optics, structured cabling, PA/GA, CCTV, security and communication systems

Telecom documentation and vendor follow-up

Interface with automation, electrical, instrumentation and process disciplines

Support during engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning

Your experience and qualifications:
