Job summary

MECA in Norway is seeking a skilled Car Mechanic for a permanent position in a modern workshop. You will service and diagnose vehicles, including electric and hybrid systems, following manufacturer guidelines and using up-to-date equipment.

The role welcomes professionals with a trade certificate as a light vehicle mechanic, a valid Class B licence, and a proactive, customer-oriented approach. Relocation and onboarding support are provided.

Qualifications

• Proven mechanical skills and ability to diagnose faults.
• Ability to service and repair vehicles per manufacturer guidelines.
• Willingness to work with EVs and hybrids.

Car Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Servicing and maintenance according to manufacturer guidelines
• Fault-finding and diagnostics using modern equipment
• Repairs to engines, brakes, suspension and electrical systems

• Documenting completed work

We are looking for someone who

• Holds a trade certificate (vocational qualification) as a light vehicle mechanic, or has extensive relevant experience
• Has a valid class B driving licence
• Ideally has high-voltage (EV) safety training, or is willing to complete it
• Speaks and writes English or Norwegian
