Job summary

EV HUB AS in Oslo, Norway seeks an experienced electronics technician to repair and remanufacture high‑voltage EV components, diagnose PCBA faults, and uphold strict safety standards. Work independently with a methodical, detail‑oriented approach, collaborate with technicians and engineers, and document repairs for quality and traceability.

Requirements: 3+ years in electronics repair, strong electrical and mechanical knowledge, English skills, and a valid Norwegian work permit or EU/EEA

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics repair or related technical field.
• Solid understanding of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Experience with automotive power electronics is a strong advantage.
• Component-level replacement.
• Strong ability to work independently.
• Structured, methodical, and detail-oriented working style.
• Good English skills, both written and spoken.
• Valid Norwegian work permit or EU/EEA citizenship is required.
• Good communication skills and ability to function effectively in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, repair, and remanufacture high-voltage EV components, including PTC heaters, DC/DC converters, onboard chargers, AC compressors, and electric steering systems (excluding HV batteries and drive units).
• Perform PCBA-level diagnostics and rework, including replacement of SMD and through-hole components, power semiconductors, connectors, and repair of damaged pads and traces.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical faults using structured diagnostic methods and established procedures.
• Execute repairs independently with full responsibility for technical outcomes and quality.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to improve repair methods, reliability, and throughput.
• Participate in R&D and reverse engineering activities under guidance from senior staff.
• Maintain accurate technical documentation for all repair and remanufacturing work.
• Follow strict high-voltage safety and workshop safety standards at all times.
