University of Stavanger invites applicants for Associate Professor in Environmental Biotechnology at the Faculty of Science and Technology, Department of Chemistry, Bioscience and Environmental Engineering.

We seek a candidate to develop solutions for water quality and sustainable resource management, contribute to interdisciplinary research, and supervise teaching from bachelor to doctoral levels, with opportunities for collaboration with industry and public sector partners.

Qualifications

• PhD in environmental biotechnology or a closely related field.
• Proven ability to conduct high-level research and publish in credible venues as per DORA.
• Experience with teaching and supervision at bachelor, master and doctoral levels.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to research, teaching and supervision across bachelor, master and doctoral levels.
• Disseminate research results and develop industry and public sector collaborations.
