UiT The Arctic University of Norway seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher to study marine microbiomes and synthetic biology. The successful candidate will develop experimental approaches for studying marine microalgae and associated microbial communities and will have a strong background in experimental and molecular biology.

Qualifications

• Norwegian doctoral degree or equivalent foreign doctoral degree.
• Excellent written and oral English language skills.
• Documented experience in experimental microbiology and molecular biology.

Responsibilities

• Develop experimental approaches for studying marine microalgae.
• Engineer and construct synthetic microbial consortia.
• Conduct transcriptomics and bioinformatics analyses.
