Job summary

Omega 365 Consulting is seeking an Environmental Advisor at the Client to support environmental discipline within projects in Norway and internationally. You will provide expert advice on environmental management and conduct assessments to ensure compliance with standards and regulations.

Key duties include supporting environmental risk assessments, regulatory processes, data collection and reporting (CSRD, OGMP), and driving improvements in data systems and emissions reduction initiatives;

Qualifications

• Requires relevant higher university degree.
• Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
• The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices, the Client’ s needs and general business conditions.
• Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
• Preferable valid offshore safety course (GSK)

Responsibilities

• Provide environmental support to the Client’s activities and projects
• Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
• Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including CSRD and OGMP
• Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
• Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools
