Job summary

Dovre Solutions is seeking an Environmental Specialist in Stavanger to provide support for environmental activities relevant to oil and gas projects. The role includes risk and chemical assessments, regulatory coordination, and reporting of performance data in line with CSRD and OGMP requirements.

You will advise on emissions management, drive improvements in data systems, and work with English and Norwegian language requirements in a Norwegian coastal career setting.

Qualifications

• Requires a university degree relevant to the role.
• Typically 5–10 years of relevant experience.
• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards.
• Thorough understanding of oil & gas industry practices and company needs.

Function

• Provide environmental support to company’s activities and projects
• Contribute to environmental risk assessments and chemical assessments
• Support regulatory processes and government correspondence
• Coordinate the collection, verification, follow-up and reporting of environmental performance data, including relevant internal and external reporting requirements such as CSRD and OGMP
• Provide advice on environmental performance, emissions management and reduction initiatives
• Drive improvements in environmental data systems and reporting tools

Requirements

• Requires relevant higher university degree.
• Requires typically 5-10 years relevant experience
• Good knowledge of NCS and European regulations and standards
• The job requires high level of expertise and a thorough understanding of the oil and gas industry practices,company’ s needs and general business conditions.
• Is in full command of the English and Norwegian language
• Preferable valid offshore safety course (GSK)
