• Solid background in software development and modern engineering practices.
• Experience leading engineers in a product-focused environment.
• Experience with cloud-based systems; Azure experience is a plus.
• Experience from agile, empowered, cross-functional teams.
• Leadership style that communicates clearly, listens actively, and builds engagement.
• Structured problem solving and critical thinking.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support a team of engineers by setting clear direction, building trust, and encouraging growth
• Shape technical choices with an eye on quality, sustainability, security, and long-term platform health
• Partner closely with Product and Design to turn ideas into well-prioritized, valuable customer solutions
• Strengthen ways of working across the team—from planning and delivery to testing and continuous improvement
• Promote good engineering practices and thoughtful use of emerging technologies, including AI
• Help create a positive, inclusive team culture where diverse perspectives are valued
