Job summary

Aker Solutions in Bergen is seeking a motivated Graduate / Junior Engineer to support activities within Vibration & Dynamics and RBI planning. You will contribute across both technical areas depending on project needs, including modal analysis and RBI strategy development.

The role offers exposure to cross-disciplinary teamwork, hands-on vibration measurements, and collaboration with asset integrity and design teams, with opportunities to grow technical and professional skills in a global energy

Qualifications

• MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar.
• Theoretical background in vibration and modal analysis.
• Understanding of structural strength assessment methods.
• Interest in integrity management and inspection planning.
• Basic knowledge of signal processing is advantageous.
• Background in corrosion assessment is advantageous.
• Practical experience in vibration measurement is a plus.
• Analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
• Proactive and adaptable, with ability to work across disciplines.
• Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

What will you be doing?
