Job summary

Aker Solutions in Stavanger is seeking an Instrument Engineer PRE to join our team. You will prepare inquiry documents, evaluate bids, and contribute to metering solutions in the FEED phase, aligning with national and international standards.

You will collaborate with customer technical specialists, review supplier documents, and support site activities. Avalid offshore certificate and EX training are required, and you must be present in-office.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education.
• Ex basic and Exi basic training courses.
• Offshore certificate valid.
• Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare inquiry documents including Metering package specifications.
• Perform bid evaluations and participate in BCMs.
• Contribute to metering solution design in FEED phase respecting regulations.
• Work with customer technical specialists to develop metering concepts.
• Review and quality assure supplier documentation and update the engineering database.
• Support site work and respond to technical queries.

Home office or split location not accepted by client, need to be present in office

What will you be doing?

Preparation of inquiry documents including Metering package specification Performing bid evaluations

Participating in Bid Clarification Meetings (BCM)

Contributing to design philosophy and development of the metering solutions in the FEED phase based on knowledge of national authority regulations and national/international metering standards

Working closely with the customer’s technical specialists in developing metering concepts

Review and quality assurance of supplier documentation Updating and giving input to the engineering database

Participating in performance tests and other inspections at supplier’s premises

Following up and supporting site work and responding to technical queries

Qualifications we think you should have:

Do you have MSc, BSc, Technical College, or other relevant education and experience

Minimum 5 years' experience from the oil and gas industry.

Good knowledge of offshore EIT installations and requirements.

Good experience in supplier co-ordination and follow-up.

Good experience in as-builts of tags and drawings.

Perform estimation work and plan activities

Ex basic & Exi basic training courses.

Offshore Course: Valid offshore certificate

Software Skills: Project spesific

Available for work in Norway

Good communicative skills in Norwegian and English
