Job summary

Aker Solutions in Bergen is seeking a motivated Graduate / Junior Engineer to support activities within Vibration & Dynamics and RBI planning. You will contribute across both technical areas depending on project needs, including modal analysis and RBI strategy development.

The role offers exposure to cross-disciplinary teamwork, hands-on vibration measurements, and collaboration with asset integrity and design teams, with opportunities to grow technical and professional skills in a global energy

Qualifications

MSc degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or similar.
Theoretical background in vibration and modal analysis.
Understanding of structural strength assessment methods.
Interest in integrity management and inspection planning.
Basic knowledge of signal processing is advantageous.
Background in corrosion assessment is advantageous.
Practical experience in vibration measurement is a plus.
Analytical and structured approach to problem solving.
Proactive and adaptable, with ability to work across disciplines.
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

Supporting vibration and dynamic analyses, including modal assessment.
Assisting in development and execution of RBI strategies and inspection planning.
Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams within asset integrity and design.
