Job summary

Arbeidsplassen is seeking a highly motivated Server to join our embassy team in Oslo. The role involves managing daily service, hospitality, and upkeep for embassy operations.

Responsibilities include professional food and beverage service, formal table service for official events, and caring for fine assets and household inventory. Strong Arabic or English communication is essential; Norwegian residency is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in table service, coffee preparation and guest hosting.
• Excellent communication skills in Arabic or English; additional languages are a plus.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional food and beverage service.
• Prepare and serve beverages upon request by embassy staff, officials, or visitors.
• Execute formal table service for luncheons, state dinners, and receptions.
• Oversee care of fine assets including cleaning, inventory, and polishing of silver, crystal, porcelain, and kitchen equipment.
• Manage household inventory.
